Every once in a while I'll browse the security faxes that get sent to the TECenter because they occasionally have funny little things in them. Remember, the security guard recaps the day he had everyday and faxes it to the directors of the buildings on BSU's west campus (where the TECenter is). He isn't required to do this. He volunteers it. Keep that in mind. Here is an excerpt from yesterday's recap.

1705 - Parking Area

Keri from the bookstore came to me and said she locked her keys in her truck. I retrieved a slim jim and tried to get in without success. She said the side window was broke and maybe I could reach the lock that way. She locked her keys in the vehicle before and this is how she got in before. I told her I could not get my arm in the window. She then said she wanted to try. The window was secured with a string and I told her the best thing to do was cut the string. She said no she didn’t want to get in trouble for cutting the string. She put her arm threw (sic) the window trying to reach the door lock with the slim jim. As she put pressure on the window the window shattered. We both received minor cuts. I then reached in and retrieved the keys. She then told me she was going to blame it on me. I told her, "I said we needed to cut the string that was holding the window and that she did not listen to me." I told her she needed to go to the bathroom and get cleaned up because she had glass all over her, down her shirt and on her clothes.

And that is where it ends. I love the "just the facts" nature of these recaps. Fantastic.
