A couple things...
1. I saw a guy who works in the same building I do heading into the bathroom today. He was wearing ankle weights. Yes, ankle weights. Remember, I work at a technology incubator, not a Gold's Gym or anything like that.
2. I had this writer for Thrive ask me about the age-old Mac v. PC debate for an article coming out tomorrow. I told him I thought PCs were better for work-related stuff, but if compatibility and software choices didn't enter into the equation, I'd prefer a Mac because they have better and simpler media choices, and they are sexier too (yes I called a computer sexy). Then, this weekend I saw about 5 of those Mac ads with the portly, nerdy gentleman (who was wearing a tie(!) - how lame, right?!?) trying to keep up with the condescending, smug, hoodie-wearing little hipster from Dodgeball/Ed/Waiting. Trying to make people feel like they are a nerd if they own a PC and are cool if they have a Mac is something that you have to do without it looking like you are trying to do it. Why don't you just let us decide which one we like more, okay? If they are the shit like you say they are, you won't have a problem. These commercials piss me off. Therefore, I only might buy an iMac when I can afford one, instead of definitely getting one like I was planning on.
Dude! Those ads are awesome! That dude's awesome! I'm awesome too, while I'm at it!
